Is now at University! :D
Unless you're using it cover stones + wood etc then I found the airline tubing with it floating on the surface wasn't perfect.
Some goes over the top, some drifts away underneath....everything still gets messay.
I chopped up a birds fat ball which was enclosed in a net...and popped the net over the airline ring, allowing an additional 5mm rim of net that stuck out of the water.
I secured the net too the airline ring with a bit of string to keep it in place.
I then filled with riccia and tah dah!
It doesn't look too pretty at the moment but I'm thinking it will in time grow through the netting and look more like just a floating clump of riccia. It's not perfect but it's solved my problem as I had no where that was perfectly still to place it. And no where good to wedge it.
Also, the ring/net thing was floating around the tank so I just tied a length of string to one of the cables in the tank so it still moves about but doesn't get into any direct currents.
I imagine if it did get into a current it would probably tip over, spilling it's contents.
Hope no one has already come up with this. (I did have a quick search)
And if no one actually has then I hope it gives people another option of how to incorporate riccia!
