I can't find any info on the above fish.

Does anybody know if they would be ok to live in with my keyholes without issue?

Beautiful fish are the gymnos but they need a cooling period of around 3 months per year other wise they die quite easily prematurely between 1 - 2 years of age usually around 18 months old. If you could separate them into a tank to give them the cool period they need when they need the warmer period they should be fine with your keyholes.

Beautiful fish, pretty compatible with other fish but just difficult because of them needing the cool period.

These are on my to keep list, once Ive got my CAs and SAs separated I want to get a 30g for a group of some of the smaller species and also want to do a micro community in a 20g....

Ah the cooling period, something I've heard of vaguely but know little about. Do you know of any places I could look to learn a bit more on this cool period business?

Best places for info on these kind of rare stuff is places like cichlidae forum or the guys at east anglican cichlid forum know their stuff on specifics as well. Have a search around on the search function on those forums and something will show up. There might be a few bits of info on the forum of the keepers of monster fish. seriously fish might have a profile on them as well..

From what I know its about 3 months a year in winter, the temperature drop depends on where the fish are from I think its the northern ones that need the lower temperatures but it could be the other way round....
