Well, I've been looking for Altum angels for, wel, ever. All of a sudden they appear in the lfs and I typically have no room for them. The quarantine tank is full of fry and I'm not turning them into Altum snack food). The price is good too. £35 a pair.
This is the first time I've seen Altums in the flesh and they don't disappoint. They are very different to the Scalare species and seem extremely aggressive too. The fish in teh tank were continually charging each other or sizing each other up.
Lovely fish! I'll just have to wait til next time.
