Guppy Pecking At Stones

Hi everyone. I have just fed my guppy and have noticed he is pecking at the pebbles I have put on top of the ceramic media. Is this normal as I have read guppies swim around the middle and top areas of the tank. Please comment on what you thing. Thanks again

You have no problem with your guppy, G21983. Guppies will swim anywhere in a tank that takes their interest. Although we think of them as spending more time in the top and middle of a tank, they will go to the bottom if they find something interesting there.
