-_- Hey I have brought male and female guppys and have successfully bred them in the past in a smaller tank, now i have a bigger tank they just dont have babies, its the same with my mollies  Why could this be, I really want little babys in there! Obviousley I cant force them but what could be be the problem?

is the temp higher than you have had it in the past? mine didn't give birth in my 50G until i did a cold water change one day. the next morning my tank was bursting with babies. mine sits at about 22 C

i'm no expert breeder but they just kinda took care of them selves after that, babies every 2/3 weeks since.

were on the 8th birth now LOL and getting a little overrun with teenage guppies. theyre rather cute though so i wont complain.

How many males and females do you have? What other fish and what size tank? It's possible the females are stressed, which could be why they aren't producing fry.

Or is it possible they are having fry, and they are being eaten?

:/ well i have 4 mollies unsure of sex though and I have 3 female guppies and 2 males, also opaline gourami x 2, 2 clown loaches and some tetras. The same as I had when the fish were breeding in a smaller tank, so what are the hints and tips? Also I really dont think they are getting pregnant as they just are not getting big at all.But the males are showing interest.

there isnt really any tips, guppies are worse than rabbits lol.

they probably are having babies but there being eaten before you see them.

is the tank heavily planted?

my platty had fry and 2 survived. moved her to a seperate tank the nxt time and she had over 40 babies.

loads get eaten.
