Guppy Fry More Developed Than Platy Fry?

I have guppy fry,2 i found a week ago and so far 6 new additions today.

I've had endless platy fry,is it me or are guppy fry more developed??

platy fry look like 2 eyes and a pointed body whereas guppy fry look like minitures of the adults complete with tail.

Maybe the guppy fry were in there a long time already, but you didn't notice? Unless you remember seeing the female drop the eggs..

Guppy fry seem to start out bigger and more developed than any of the Xiphophorus fry do. Molly fry start even further along and goodeids are huge and well developed compared to any of those others.

Thanks oldman,now at least i can tell the difference between them,i suppose thats why guppy fry tend to hover around the top hiding and platy fry hide out in the bottom of the tank?
