Sorry he has a bacteria infection, or parasites with the long stringy white poo, they can blow up with them, i would issolate him to be on the safe side, sorry.

well he made it throgh teh night, still ahs teh white string, but appears to be acting normal again. iv got him in the female guppy tank, he couldn't be happier he seems to be shrinking now, hes not as bloated as he once was, and his guts appear to be makeing a retreat back to where they belong. this is extreamly odd, i thoght for sure he would ahve died like a week ago, now he's getting better once again.....i guess all he needed was a lil love from his girlys

Strange, try some shelled peas, long stringy white poo can mean a bacteria infection, or internal parasites, is the anus red and inflamed, anything protruding from the anus, long stringy white poo could of been constipation which is now clearing up so good luck.

i just had a male betta die from what i think was a bacterial infection, this could very well be the case here as well. im gunna try the pea and if all else fails i melefix my guppy tanks.

it does sound like internal parasites. You need to try medicated food. This crud spreads through a tank like nobodys business so you need to feed all of the fish in said tank with the food.

Most LPS should have Such a type of Food.
I've used it a Few Times Myself, and it works fine "Just So LONG" as the Fish that is being treated is Eating.
But if it doesn't eat at least the One's that are eating, Will for the "MOST PART" be protected.

This Food is almost always in Flake Form.
If your LPS doesn't have any they Should be able to Order it for you, Or you can Buy it from Someplace Like, Drs. Foster Smith, or That Fish Place, etc. And have it Shipped Express if need be.
