Hello, new to the site and to fishkeeping. I have a 10 gallon tank with a female balloon belly molly, a regular orange short-finned molly, a fancy male guppy, and one of those little aquatic frogs. My guppy is such a bully to my orange molly, even though the guppy is smaller.

I know that getting a couple female guppies may be helpful, but I don't want to overcrowd my tank. I also have a separate little tank with 7 balloon belly molly fry in it that are 3-4 weeks old, and I was hoping to keep a couple of those and thinking about adding a couple of them to my big tank within the next two weeks because I'm attached to the little guys and don't want to give them all away. Any suggestions?

Im not sure what to say, but mollies are too big for your tank. Best to rehome ythem. They need a 30g minimum. Sorry :/

But, after you can get a few male guppies if you dont want babies, as females will overrun you with fry quickly. I would say you could get 4-5 more male guppies :)

I'm with Ellie on this in terms of the Mollies. You should rehome them (and the frog but that might just be me as I don't like them with fish) and I'd get 4 female guppies to go with your male. Stock numbers will likely increase but the population will be managed by nature so you should be ok.

If you have 5 males they'll end up chasing each other round all the time.

Yes they will, but I actually think that looks quite good, a lot of action going on.

With at least 5, you'll find the boisterousness is spread out, and no fish will end up suffering unduly.
