That still is not the worst part, getting undesirable traits, it is the effect it could have on all other fish if some slip out of the gene pool and ruin others by introducing unhealthy fish/ unhardy fish.

Obviously, that is the greatest problem with undesirable traits (such as health problems)- they muck it up for everybody, not just the fish concerned. By undesirable traits I did mean precisely such things as susceptibility to infection (which seems to be a big problem with guppies).
