Guppies

Hi, I am new to the board. I have had guppies since feb. of this year and fell in love with them.

One of my male guppies have not gotten any breeding spots. Is that normal? Will he not mate with my females? He seems fine. Very active.

One of my females gave birth about 2 weeks ago, but I think my other male guppy did the breeding part. I am wondering if the male without breeding spots will ever breed.

Does anybody else have a male without breeding spots?

What do you mean by "breeding spots" ?

Male Guppies get black breeding spots on the side of their body. If you look at the picture, you will notice the yellow guppy has a big black spot on him. That is a breeding spot.

Hmm, can't say I've ever heard of guppy breeding spots. But I've never been a guppy breeder per say, just have had guppys that have babies if I want them or not, hehe.
