Are guppies peaceful?
Can you keep 1-3 in a community tank with other fish? What do you recommend?
This is for 20g that has:
6 WCMMs, 4CPDs & 2 Amano

I wan thinking Habrosus Cory but my water is too hard.

What about Otocinlus?

If my LFS gets them in AND they do well the decision is made, I'll get more CPDs, maybe a dozen.

I am hesitant for more minnows, I think they need a bigger tank than I have to offer.
I had 7, somehow went down to 5, and they had a baby girl who looks like she has eggs so now I have 6 and I'm cool with that. But if I see more minnows first and they look healthy I might get those. Healthy minnows under the right conditions are stunning!
I wouldn't mind suggestions.

Guppies are peaceful. I wouldn't do the otos, they need softer water :) what about putting guppies with your forktail rainbows?

I have 165 litre tank with 4 guppies (3 female 1 male), 2 glass catfish, 2 angel fish, 3 Pakistani loach, and 5 bristle nose plecs. They all live very peacefully together as long as I move the ornaments about on water change days otherwise the angel fish get territorial. Not sure what to get next thinking L128 blue phantom pleco.

Because I have max bioload for my comfort with 9 rainbows, (--3m 6f --).
I also have to be vigilant so I will add one young Assassin. With a species tank, I will want to keep it species ONLY incase I can get a couple fry. That's what happened to my WCMM. :)

What size tank were you thinking for the gups?

I have guppies and they breed like rabbits, I have feeder guppies in my RES 20 gallon tanks and fancy guppies in my LOTR tank. I just picked up a pair of the fancy guppies and she did not look pregnant when I put them in the tank about 2 weeks ago and now I have tiny fry swimming around. I hope they take after the father.

What temp? The know the cpd and wc are cooler water fish. And guppies are tropical but I think both of them have a wider temp range
