Hey everybody! I recently built a small 50gal 5ftx3ft pond on my balcony in Los Angeles and stocked it with 12 female guppies. It hit me that winter is approaching, and I was worried about my little ladies. Will they be able to survive winter in LA? It doesn't get that cold during the day, but it can get down in the 40s at night sometimes. Any advice would be appreciated!

Bring them indoors?

Guppies need to be around 68-80 degrees so dropping them to 40 could see you lose them all. Not sure a heater outdoors would be much use as it would need to be running all the time and might struggle so I'd bring them in for the winter.

How cold does it get? and how warm will that water get in summer?
