Guppies, how long will they last w/o a filter/heater. I have someone whose going to give me arounf 5-15 guppies free and she has to drive abour hald an hour to get to the place where we are meeting.(for thats where her foster child has a visit at) and we have the other two siblings to that kid so that means we will be there an extra hour with the fish.. then about 15 minutes from there to get home.. sooooo........

About. 1:45 -2 hours.. will they last???? or die?

They'll be fine. :good: A little close on time, but if kept safe and not shaken  they'll be alright

i think they can survive, so long as you dont shake them up much, but will it be a seal bag, or a container,
as in a sealed bag, aeration may be an ussie, but with some air provided to the fish theyll be able to survive,
guppies are hardier then that IMO.

you could put a little water conditioner in the thing you're carrying them in like what they do at petsmart

lol. kay... I hope they survive. she has some purple ones as well. i hope she gives me one.> LOL..

Don't feed them for 24 hours before bagging, and bag with 1/3 water, 2/3 air. They will easily last 12 hours this way, I see it all the time at auctions. Hundreds of bags at every auction, you may have one that dies in a bag with 4, maybe 6 items. This is usually due to overcrowding.

ok.. thanks for all teh replies.. i will tell ehr that..

They should be fine, once i found a young guppy in a bucket which must have been in it for at least 2 weeks and it was swimming around healthy and happy as ever, guppys can be surpisingly adaptable and hardy little fish at times  .
With the transporting of the guppys though, my main advice would be to put as few guppys as posible per bag and to make sure their transport bags are well insulated (wrapping the bags in newspaper and then putting them in a sturdy box helps a lot) to help prevent large fluctuations in temperature etc.
