I for one am pretty ignorant about livebearers in general (which shows in my poor ability to keep swordtails alive), so copeina you can enlighten me about the other kinds or maybe even talk Tick .... SPOOOOOOOOOOON!

You have to give people a break. Many people are quite new to the hobby. How can you blame beginners for asking questions?

I don't blame newbies for asking questions, I blame them for not scrolling through roughly 455000 posts on this board alone with identical subject lines. The amount of material available to the new fishkeeper is incredible, and if they have found this site and figured out how to register and post, why can't they use the scroll button on their mouse to look around first???

In the meantime, I have had my Celebes halfbeaks for just over a week and I think I have a new favorite fish!! What a gorgeous animal! (Though I don't imagine I'm making any friends with this thread...)

Well Kris I guess I'll forgive you... Just make sure to post some pictures of your fish. I've never seen these fish you speak so highly of...
