Guppies And Dwarf Gourami

No.2 son keeps nagging at me to get Dwarf Gourami - are guppies a bit too boisterous?

I dont think so
i keep 5 dwarf gourami with my guppies neons mollies and rams
but i would recommend getting 2 so they will pick at each other rather than your guppies

I've never had them together but I have a DG and the only time I've seen him be shy was with rainbowfish. I've had him with danios, silvertip tetras and even a betta (bad LFS advice!) and he was well capable of holding his own.
