Guppies And Angels

Can the above be kept together or would the Angels decide to turn and nip on the Guppies.

I would love a pair of Angels but the missus wants some Guppies, we are just looking at what to put in a tank as we want a communal tank, we are thinking a few guppies, pair of angels, 2 silver sharks plus others...

We have a 3ft 130 ltr tank.

avoid the silver sharks, they grow too big and need to be kept in groups.

if you get the angels small and grow them with the guppies they should be fine, if you are wanting an actual pair though you will need to get a group and grow them

It is a friend of mine that is getting rid of the Angels, they are slightly larger than a 50p peice in silver and black, he is getting rid of all his fishies and these are the last to go... I don't want to risk loosing Guppies or any other fish if they could nip.

They do look very nice though lol.

Thanks for the information.. I love the Silver Sharks though, could we not get small ones and then move them when they start to get big?

I don't know if I want to risk putting them into our tank incase they decide to turn on them lol, I have put them in the for sale section for him like to see if anyone else would buy them.. I love the look of the Angel fish, they just look like the float along and look very harmful but I have heard some tales about them lol.

Would a Rainbow/Red tail/Red fin Shark be fine instead of Silver Sharks, and would they also need to be kept in groupes?

You see, we have a 3ft tank as mentioned earlier and I wouldn't mind a half decent sized fish that is communal and not going to turn on any Guppies or anything else for that matter.
