Grrr...plank Or What!

I'm such a plank,i just cleaned out the big external for nothing...i was walking past the tank and noticed the flow had slowed right down,so panicked without thinking stripped it all down,just has i got it back together,looked up and noticed the cap had come off the end of the spray bar
The annoying part is the cap comes off for a past time and i normally just push it back on so why didn't i check it this time...

I only cleaned this filter last week!!! it was the other filters turn this week!!! Typical ehh!!

This kept happening to my tetratec 1200 (luckily i notice each time that the cap had come off!) so i wrapped a bit of ptfe tape around the cap and pushed it back on, hasn't popped off since

Well i do the same sometimes. But mine is a internal filter so i just think oh right it's gone again when usualy i have cleaned it out the day before and a bit of plant has just got stuck in the side slowing the flow down.

My filters are the tetratec ex700 & ex1200,so i will be hunting out dads ptfe tape, i know he has some,i use to be his assistant labourer when he use to work before ill health.

I know what i'll be doing in the morning

HAHA...yea I ahd similar experiences like that. Last week I was cleaning my tank and thought I found a crack in it xD I panicked but found out it was only a string of the rubber sealing for my tank
