So I was wondering if its possible to grow a lotus or a water lily from scratch. I found a couple of seeds on amazon and was wondering how effective they are and what the process for that would look like. I am trying to grow one in my 29 gallon tank. Here is the links to the seeds I'm looking at. @Colin_T @WhistlingBadger @PheonixKingZ @JuiceBox52

When we first started up our pond, my mom got a bunch of seeds on eBay. We never planted them after we learned how long they took to grow!

Lillies also like full sun to bloom, so you Will likely want moderately high lighting

To get water lily and lotus seeds to germinate you need to scarify the outer seed coat. Basically rub the seed on some fine sand paper before sowing them.
yes make sure not to rub the flesh of the seed the seed will be mad at you and not germinate and die off
