grouping for cories and other catfishes

They'll hang out together some of the time, but will be comfortable with each other.

i might soon upgrade it to 2 schools. should be nice to my guppies and hope swordtails wont annoy them

Cory species can be mixed as long as there are at least 3 of each species. A mix of one of this, one of that, one of the other is not really a good idea, but 3 of this and 3 of that is fine.

I just got 2 of green cories and 4 spotted cories........ shoudve checked the forum. But they sometimes school with each other which is a good sign. I will sure get another green one but i think i spent too much $$ last night because therr was a sale on semi aquaric plants.....

Thanks so much people! So i fed them omega 1 sinkers. The guppies also got influenced by them to also filtersand and ate all the sinkers. How do i not get the guppies to eat the sinkers?

Plus i cannot find the bug bites or hikari at petsmart and theres a lot of shrimp in my current sinkers so it should be fine, all the fish including cats love it and they all swarm around it

Soak the sinking food in a bit of tank water then use a turkey baster (like a giant pipette) to squirt them straight onto the tank floor.

dont have one of those, i will just put my arm in the tank and squirt with a syringe. (no head). it works too right?

I had to order my Bug bites & shrimp wafers off the web.
Petsmart up here only stock basic foods, They told me that there isnt much depand for foods beyond flakes & algae wafers, Even fry food is just 1 brand.
I stopped using them yrs ago but its handy for bits n pieces when your stuck on a Sunday afternoon

I thibk i pretty much have the mix because other than fresh beggues i sometimes feed the Snale to go wafers of algae. And osmetimes i make the guppy food sink so the cata can grt a bite. I have a nother question. One of my catfish suspected a she is very lethargic and has a damaged barbule maybe because of the gravel when i got them. Shes in sand and good care now but im still not sure if she will eat. Will the whisker heal?

Yes the whisker will heal if its not too badly damaged but it wont grow back.
Just keep clean conditions & watch for infections.
I have seen the barbels right down to nothing in some LFS, The guy i get mine off keeps bare bottomed for the Corys as they sell out in a few days & they always have very long barbels. Gotto admit though i broke all the rules with my Corys in the past, Probably why i only have 1 of the original 1s left.

Forgot to say, Drop a little food in before lights out & she may eat something while the other fish are resting.Cant really comment on lethargic as ive never witnessed it.
Mine are out most of the time & always swimming everywhere

Wait shes actuve now but dosent touch the floor? I did see one of the green ones steal a pellet for a few mins maybe she ate a lot.

Maybe she does not like the substrate, Something irratating her?
Any injuries to belly area?
I have a fat female at the min who wont swim right to the top but cant find a reason for it except for possible egg carrying
