Green Water

Is it useful in anyway?

I have a tank in my back garden and after 1 week its full of green water, just wondering if its useful at all for anything.

ps, no there is no fish in it, its just got water in.

Get some daphnia and feed the greenwater for it. Or you can feed it to fry.

So you mean, get some daphnia and they will feed off the green water? will the daphnia live and multiply this way? if so that would be cool.

Do i need anything else in the tank?

no heater
no filter
no airpump.

this is how it is, just dead calm tank.
