I'm not sure what other puffer fish can go with my green spotted puffer.I like the topaz puffer, the figure 8 puffer, red eye puffer and i like green spotted puffers.Which of theese would go best with my green spotted puffer in a 63 litre tank? And how many of them could i fit in? Thanks :S

None, since a green spotted puffer needs a 200l tank.

yeah also GSPs are brackish I believe so will need a bit of salt in their water, I would ask in the brackish section as to how much though.

Go to the oddball section if you are looking for Fresh Water puffers if you want more advice on different FW puffers which I would recommend for that size tank. You could get 2 dwarf puffers if and heavily plant your tank and you should be fine. I heard otto's do well with dwarf otherwise best to keep it at species tank only.
..or go to the brackish section for the green spotted or figure 8 puffer.

As has already been said you need around 30(US)G per GSP, the only other puffer I know of with similar requirements is the Topaz or Ceylon Puffer. Both puffers are known to be very aggressive.

no it doesnt
if we're going to play it that way... :S

yeah it does

EDIT: the very very bare minimum is 120l, so 63l...
i know i have one
:D
shut up
so if I put a 10 inch Common Pleco or a Red Tail Catfish in my 30l Betta tank, it would be fine, and I'd be sure because I have one?

Some people...

You came on here for advice. Why not take it?

lol :p I just hope you take the advice. In my opinion I think you should get FW puffers as they are interesting as ones that need to be in brackish. or..upgrade your tank very close to 200lt and go for green spotted as they are going to need the space when they grow. I think you should get a couple of small 2-3cm juvenile green spotted puffers in fresh water then slowly when they get bigger at 4-5 cm add salt. This will be easier to maintain at the start and also they would be more tame.

Either way hope you make the right decision :)
