Hello,

Am wondering if someone can help/give some advice here.

We have just bought a Green Spotted Puffer yesterday. Got him home and put him into the tank.

He seemed fine when we first put him in, but when we got up this morning, we fed him blood worms, which he seems not to have touched, and he seems to lie at the bottom of the tank behind a rock with is tail half curled.........is this normal?

Any help muck appreciated

No more then likely its a bacterial infection do a melafix treatment plus a little aquarium tonic salt. What are your water stats e.g. nitrate, ammonia ect. ?

Has the tank been cycled and what are the water stas for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and PH?
What is your salinity reading?

Need to answer some members questions.
How long did you climatise the fish for as laying around on the bottom and not noticing surrounding can be a sign of ph shock.
