I just bought 3 baby sevrums and I am wondering after a couple of hours in my 20 gallon at the right tempterature and ph level and they went white and I am worried about them. If you know anything about sevrums could you tell me any reason theyre doing this? (These are my first sevrums)

How are the other readings (Nitrites, nitrates?) Sverums can get pretty stressed after being moved around a lot. If your water is ok they should be better in a few days :)

BTW, do you have a larger tanks for the severums? They do get quite large (8-10" usually) and personable :)

Good luck with them, I hope they are ok :D

New worlds often lose color at first, until they get comfortable. To keep all three you'll need a 75 gallon tank soon. Nice fish though, good luck.

I have gold severums and they go white when they go into their "sleep-like stage" I don't know much about greens but that may be the cause.

hey thanks alot and I dont plan on keeping them for their full life time, just until they're 3 inches at the most because i dont have enought money for anything bigger.
