my green mushroom coral turned white when i got my new lighting (typical algae loss) i figured it would come back, that was last month and its still pale as hell and aint opening up, any ideas how i can help it along the way?

When corals bleach, they can lose all or some of their zooxanthellae. When they lose all, a severe bleaching event, they might not recover. If they still retain some zooxanthellae, these can reproduce given favourable conditions, but may take weeks to months to fully recover. Corals can also reclaim zooxanthellae from the surrounding water. Id suggest just keep up with water changes, keep water at optimum conditions, and wait it out.

Agreed, nothing you can do but keep the water tip-top. If the mushroom will accept food (mysis/brine) feed it, if not, leave it alone and cross your fingers.
