green hair algae

This is a change from the norm.
I want to grow this type of aglae.
I took some from a local river and would like grow it.
Any info on water param's and conditions ideal for this algae would be appreciated.

well in a aquarium i think it would be hard to grow just one type of algae ? but if you want algae i think requires the same stuff, nutrients and light im not sure if c02 would help em a lot but i guess it will good luck with growing the algae

Hmmm, good point.
I'm not going to use CO2 though.
Algae needs very little to grow, and thrive.
I'm was just wondering if anyone had any info or maybe a link on how to grow this algae and what and if it thrives on any "particular" trace element or type of fert.
I'll just let things happen in the tank...and....see what happens.
