I went to Menards(Home Improvemnet store in the midwest US) today and bought a bag of gray slate chips. The chips had a bunch of what looks like dust to me and it was very messy it got over my hands and such. Is it normal for the rocks to be like that? I washed them all off and they look fine now and aren't dusy.
