Grandma's Tank!

This is a 20 gallon tank. She wanted it this way so she got it this way. Right now it has 4 platys, one glass fish (those that are painted and i know its bad but she doesnt know), and an angelfish (which i shall return to petstore. I cycled the tank fir her and then got her the platys but she bought the other two on her own. But she is really happy with her new tank. She already has a 150 for two Oscar fish. So here is the pic!!

What is the green substrate?  Almost looks like plants, but I'm not sure?
 
I'd also like to know what type filter that is.  Thanks!

They are fake plants just made sure they wouldnt cause damange to the fish. My grandma wouldnt be able to care cor real plants. They came in packages and i just put stuff in bottom ao it wouldnt float. And the fliter actually came with the tank...aqua culture.. Let me see if i can find the name...it just says Whisper internal fliter and well "tetra" aorry just came with tank

It is cute. I tried to convince my grandmother an aquarium would be good for her, but she said she doesn't want to care for anymore pets. She's quite content with her little desktop waterfall thing.

Aww.. My grandma does like fish Nd so does my mom. But my grandma got i to it due to my mom. Oo and i had not noticed this guy in between the plants..

He is with the fish i listed above. Just i had not notoiced it. He has been swimmming around the fake plants this whole time. He is all white. And the angelfish will go tomorrow.
