Gouramis With...

could i keep gouramis with black neon tetra, cardinal tetra and harlequins rasbora or would they get nipped
also are they easy to keep and do they have to be in pairs with male and female?

i think if i remeber rightly you can get away with 2 females, or a male and 2 females. i need this confirmed.
