Gourami's Pecking At Apple Snails

So i am quite new to tropical fish keeping and recent got some dwarf gourami's to go into my tank.

They have got along fine with everything ( even my amano shrimp!) yet they keep pecking at my apple snails and i don't know why.

It's gotten to the point where the will hardly leave them alone

Should i put the snails into something tempory fo the night or leave them be? I'm worried about them getting injurd

Yeh they will attack them, but they will eventually settle down, id personally but some stress coat, and/or some tonic water in to calm them down.
