Gourami

I have condensed my tanks and after a discuss died decided I wanted to move to something slightly less expensive...so I was going with gourami's.

med Planted tank, 5 glowlight tetra's, 3 bala's, 3 corries, 1 syno eupt

how many gourami's are good together? also, thinking about adding some barbs, but was waiting to hear on others thoughts since the gourami's were the first choice. 55 gallon - becoming a 75 gallon in march.

pearls are nice, thick lipped too - you could have a pair of each as they are more peaceful than say opaline gouramis.

1 male 2 female pearls, thats what iv been recommended to have in my tank (125L)

They're not hard to keep and very beautiful.

To be honest, out of all the Gouramis I have kept the most interesting one is the pink kissing gourami?

They are funny to watch, and they (imo) are the least aggressive i've kept.

Also if possible try and keep to the 1:2 ratio of male to females.

Moonlights, get big but are stunning, esp at night with just the tank light on.
