I have had my gouramis for quite a while and the large male has always been troublesome , killing platys and guppies and then last night my female gourami, I have changed scenics around but issue carries on so I finally isolated it from the rest of the fish so it won't harm them anymore , I spoke with the fish shop and they said I can bring it in and exchange it but what would I take in down in or would I have to go and get a bag from them and then take the fish in but the shop is far away from my home?

You can take it in a bucket, also gourmis can be territorial with each other, and also attack other fish, I had 2 that always fought with each other in a 75 gallon but they were in a aggressive tank so they couldn't pick on anyone else.

I just returned a fish a couple days ago and just brought it in a bucket.

Yeah just a bucket. Gouramis need a fresh supply of air and would get stuffed if you put it in a bag without compressed oxygen

Well.. A five minute trip in a bag wouldn't hurt and they don't just solely breathe atmospheric air.

Poster said the shop is far from his home. I doubt he'll be there in 5 minutes

Ok thank you all, my tank I mainly tetras, plecos and live bearers so I think the fish was overly dominate from being the biggest in the tank.
