Have you added anything new to the tank recently? He could be stressed

Hi Giggity :)

Welcome to the forum! :hi:

The question about your water stats is an important one, especially since your tank is only 2 months old. Unless you did a "fishless cycle" before adding fish, they have been through a stressful time and the one you asked about might be showing the effects of it. If you don't understand what I am talking about, please don't hesitate to ask. The members here will be happy to explain and get you on the right track.

It's also possible that you have a male and female gourami and the male is being aggressive toward the female. This is not unusual with gouramis. Or, possibly you have two males and one is dominant. Do you know how to tell the sexes apart?
