Gourami Has Gash On It's Side

Hi,

One of my pearl gouramis has developed some kind of gash on it's side.

Is there anything I can do about it? Pics are below, thanks.

Just watch out for infection and treat accordingly if there is any signs.
Otherwise it will heal on its own!
