I would get a product from AP or Mardel targeted at true fungal infections... Melafix is pretty weak stuff.
Keep about 1tbsp salt per 5g in the tank at all times, aerate, and add Maroxy or an equivalent med as directed; most treatments take a min of 5 days and may need to be repeated as fungus is stubborn. Maroxy is nice because it fights true fungus, but will also help kill bacteria.
Can I get that in the UK? I thought Melafix was a good med to use, it was more expensive than the stuff I had bought before, but eh, I guess you live and learn.
I agree actually that med nots doing anything.
That finrot med is a seven day treatment one dose if its interpet, and same as i've said i don't rate it that why i suggested you change the med.
I didn't realise you were suggesting I changed treatment, I thought you meant change if it looked like berries or cauliflower. Sorry about that. I'll have a look for something different tomorrow... either that maroxy - if it is available here, or myxazin and pimafix.
Thanks for your help
