Oh yeah, I know a guy who has one of those for his saltwater tank. They really make it easy to scrub if you can't reach to the bottom of the tank.

And ok ok i dont mean to highjack your thread but ive been dieing to tell since you asked if anyone else got a nice suprise! Not only did i receive subscriptions to my favorite fish magazine and a bunch of fish books, but the main highlight was my new RO/DI unit!!!! AAAAH! I almost died when i pulled the DI unit out of the abyss of packing peanuts!

Now i can get going on my saltwater tank and lower the ph of my 65g with mixing the ro/di water in! BEST. CHRISTMAS. EVER.

Thats funny i got a subscription to tropical fish hobbyist. And i gave my dad an R/O unit in September. Sounds like you had a nice Christmas too.

My main present was my Trigon 350 light units. I'd previously been running T8's and had repaired them numerous times, the ballast dies quite quickly if any condensation gets into it. So my two new light units are T5's and it looks great.

This was from my girlfriend and our kids. I'm a bit old for getting presents from my mother.
