Hi there just wanted to share with you my new addition. I have never been a cory fan until I met Baccus on this forum. She got me so interested in them and I must admit they are the sweetest fish one can have in a tank. I am mainly into bettas but after getting bitten by the cory bug (thanks to Baccus) I went out and purchased some aldolfois. They are just beautiful and peaceful and friendly which is so unlike my cranky, bad tempered bettas.
Well my plans was to purchase a 4ft tank and house some different species of the corys and surprise surprise my friend Baccus sent me some of her beautiful long finned peppered. What a wonderful gift to receive and I was so shocked to see them rock up at my place.
Sorry the pics are not very clear as I had to take them from a distance. They never like to be photographed up close. They scatter and hide when I get close to the tank.

What I love about corys is they get on with every fish in the tank and they certainly don't mind hanging out with other types of corys as you can see the peppereds are happy mingling with my aldolfoi cory
A big thankyou Baccus :thanks: I am smittened by your little guys  and I can't wait to add to my collection.
You gotta love corys

I am glad your loving your corys, and that they got to you safe and sound.

They certianly are looking nice and plump.

The colour in the pics does them no justice. They are just radiant with an iridescent glow all over them....Oh and I also forgot to add that Baccus sent me a bristle nose catfish as well and cherry shrimps. Now I'm getting hooked on shrimps too and Baccus is the blame for that as well. I would love to own finches like the ones she has as well but I have to draw the line somewhere. Youre a bad influence Baccus    but in a very good way.

 , what can I say ? I just like people to know the joys of the peaceful fish. Plus shrimp are pretty amazing and considering the limited introduced varieties in Australia all the more reason to explore the native types :p Now if only we had an Australian equivelent of Corys and BN's I would be happy :D .

I've got to agree. My cories are my favourites too. I just love em

Ummm lets see now i've got quite a few Trilineatus and pandas, some albinos & bronze ones, pygmies & habrosus, skunks, metae's,adolfi's,black schultzi & gold lasers = so only 11 different types ...not many really  ... Oh around 30 albino & bronze fry... so around 100 corys in all, give or take a few babies...

So i don't really see what peeps see in corys really...

Awwwww! Im so green with envy.....can I come over to your place and take your horrible corys off your hand :D :p

This is Cam the bristle nose that Baccus sent me. Another nice fish to have in the tank. He doesn't seem to mind the company of the mystery shrimps.
