I suspect female. From the pictures, it looks like the fins are a bit short. And females tend to be a tad less colorful. Yours is extremely dull, hope it colors up soon I was thinking it was a ram, but the total silveriness of it made me wondering.

Yep hes in with the bettas and neons, female betta soon to move.
At the shop he was very colorful, on the way home he got a bit dull.
I was wondering if it was a male or female as im going to pick it up a partner on friday.

I love my pair of Bolivian rams. Reluctantly, I may be selling them soon as I've decided I'm gonna sell my 125ltr. I don't think my geo's will take kindly to them and I'd hate for them to get ripped to shreds.

No offense, but I would be more worried about getting that oscar out of the 67g tank that with getting more fish.....I'm not geting anymore fish myself till i get these oscars out of my house..

ive got a couple of largeish but not full size oscars about 10 inch each and I wouldnt keep them in my 4ft tank, theyre too big for that in my opinion, theyre in my 150g and they seem to appreciate the space

I know a 4ft is the bare minimum but its the biggest I can house in my bedroom unless I rehome him which I really dont want to do, will have to think.

Yeah sorry about the quality, phones on its way out, used to take good pictures.
Ill try and get clearer ones today as I really need to know which one it is.
