Got some tiger striped frog bit

I got some tiger striped frogbit for free from a member in my local club.
Excited to see it grow!

I have not come across this previously, so I had to do some research. From what I can find so far, this is a variety of the basic Frogbit species Limnobium laevigatum, and not a distinct species. I also found that California prohibits acquiring this plant, due to its propensity to "escape" into the ecosystem. Nice looking plant. If you're lucky it may bloom.

Yeah its different which makes it cool. I hope it flowers... that would be even cooler!
