when i have that brown algea bloom what does that mean.should i leave itto go by itself or get a cuc in there then

your having your lights on too long, you should start at 2 hours for a week and then increase by an hour every 3 days, then the diatoms wont grow so fast and when you get your CUC it will start to go

If you're getting diatoms in a new tank which tests 0 for ammonia and nitrIte, then yes it's time for CUC
