Got My 1st Betta Tank

i have got my 1st betta tank
he is red and lives in a 55L (15Guk?)
why didnt i get him sooner!!

ive added more slate into the tank
i want another betta but i dnt have a spare tank. so i might put a tank divider in. would i need another filter for this? + how much would it cost?

He looks alot like one of my boys. Here's a pic of my divided 10 gal. I have 2 filters running just because I'm paranoid about filtration. (I keep cichlids too, so I like to over filter.) Since bettas aren't big fans of current anyways, 1 filter should be fine.

A tank divider is pretty cheap @ your LFS, but you can also make them, not sure how, though I'm sure someone will find you a link.

I definately recommend planting heavy on both side of the divider so they only get small glimpses of each other. Mine looks kinda crappy right now, but I'll be adding live plants before too long.

Oh, almost forgot, he's gorgeous.
