Its hard as they're both still faded and stressed, the girl is still showing stress stripes but has calmede down alot and is now brown with a colourful tail lol
I hope she grows, i can't believe how little she is
Hi
To throw the "cat amongst the pigeons" I think you need to find a boys name for Nessi. In your first post, the pictures of your new "girl" in her tank, clearly indicate she is a he. It is a male PK.
You said that you thought it was a male, but is now definately a female? What made you believe that?
They are both gorgous!!
i've got 2 boys... Jack & yet to be named!!!
Congrats on the job!!!
The dirty jobs are the best lol, im just about to takle my 2 boys tanks who are both, luckily, pretty clean little souls!!!
Hi ForestPisces............I noticed you were online ealier and posted on your other thread. Although you have Nessi in a seperate tank at present, i would urge you not to consider adding Nessi to any females, or any females to Nessi's tank.
Nessi is 100% Male PK despite what everyone on here has said and what the lfs where you work has told you, although i still cannot believe that someone hasn't mention it before.
i also immediately thought PK male. time will tell but id seriously hold off adding shim to a sorority till shims grown a bit and you know for sure....awesome looking fish nonetheless...
and that poor BOY ...his fins will start healing in no time...great tank for him...he deserves it!
What an amazing tank for a betta, im sure the betta with hardly any fins with soon pick up, bet thats his dream come true!
Im doing a betta rescue in a couple of months x
