Just for the sake of education, there's no such thing as "F0". The "F" stands for "filial", meaning offspring. F1 is the first generation of offspring (i.e., children), F2 the second generation (i.e., grandchildren), and so on. Obviously the parents aren't their own descendants, so F0 is meaningless; in genetics, the parents are the P generation.

So, what you're after are simply wild-caught blue acaras.

You probably won't be able to get them all that easily since this species is inexpensively supplied via ornamental fish farms. But if you approached someone like Keith Lambert at Wildwoods, I'd be very surprised if a decent retail store couldn't order some in. The "season" for South Americans is from late summer onwards, so this would be a good time to make some plans.

lol learn something new every day i assumed as F1 were offspring from wild then wild must be F0. i have already emailed keith at wildwoods . thanks for the help
