Is there anything I can do to make my aquarium better?

Uh, The question really needs to start at, What do you have in your tank?

Maybe you could post a picture of your current tank, and I am sure you will get some creative advice.

Short answer, yes.
Long answer, see above posts. Most of us never stop fiddling with our tanks. Even when we get every thing just so, there is still plants that need trimming, wood and/or rocks that might look better if turned one way or the other by just a smidge.
In the end unless you are designing tanks on commision, it's what makes us happy. After all we spend the most time looking at them.

This is my aquarium

I can't get a picture cos it says file too big to attach!

All I want to know is what can I do or what do I need to have a successful tank

I agree with you the web site is carp that we can't post bigger pictures, however, we still need more info from you to go on.

Yes theres a million mile long list on how to make a good tank, its more of opinion after the facts though.

I have a 12 gallon tank with 1 driftwood covering the whole tank with a gourami and 6 neon tetras I have sand in this aquarium

In my OTHER aquarium it is also a 12 gallon full of 6 adult mixed shrimps, about 19 baby shrimps and more on the way
My shrimps just breed like crazy almost every 2 or 3 days! I know why though so don't tell me why.

The shrimps I have are amano shrimps and cherry shrimps.

I sometimes use this tank to breed guppies and sell them or keep the nice ones in one of the tanks.(mostly the 2nd one with the shrimps).
I'm VERY sorry I can't get a picture maybe I'll use my phone instead of my ipad?

I think this is enough information but ask me more and I'll be more than happy to tell you,I just wrote down all the basic stuff!
