Sorry, me again!

I hold my hands up...I think I have put the most unlikely neighbours together in my tank. However, in my defence, my local aquarium shop told me that it was a good idea! It's only since joining this forum that I realise my choices have been er...absurd!

since starting my tank in march '07 i've got through two clown loaches, a glass catfish, a guppy, a male dwarf gourami and a female dwarf gourami. god rest their souls. reasons varied from (i suspect) bullying, bad water levels and a freak accident at feeding time which resulted in a tail being completely severed.

i'm now left with...

* male bristlenose catfish (whom i adore! he's growing bigger by the day and is happy and thriving)

* male guppy (he lost his brother months ago...seems happy and healthy, has grown bigger, more resplendent in colour, has good appetite etc. only bad point is his poor tail is in tatters because of nibblers...again, my fault)

* glass catfish (i know, i know, these are usually only sold in groups of six because of their sociable natures, but i was unwisely sold a pair and then one died)

any ideas which fish i can put with this motley crew? my 25L tank is looking very bare and sorry for itself, but i don't want to jeopardise the happiness or health of my three hangers-on whom i've grown very fond of! also, feelings on adding a shrimp or two?

any advice or tips much appreciated as always!

Ive missed the other posts, but what size tank are we talking about?

how mature is your tank you could get away with 5 wcmm's if you kept on top of water changes. but i only recomend that if your filter system is about 4-6 months old.
