Goldfish

Tokis It was a little less than 4 inches and it looks nothing like any of those. As I said before... It looks just like a BIG rosey red.

It could have been just that- rosey red minnows have been known to grow up to 3inches. Did it have the colour of a rosey red minnow or just the body shape?

fbt girl you did the same thing in the other thread, you wanted us to id it but you never said anything but "it looks like a rosy red minnow!". we cant help you if you dont give us some info. and i dont think that a lfs would have a fully grown rr minnow, as they buy them by size and a 3" wouldnt come with 1-1.5" minnows that lfs usualy order

Hm....Well anyway, i think the moral of the story here is don't but fish which you have absolutely no idea of what they are, don't buy fish which you have not thoroughly researched beforehand, and don't add fish to small uncycled tanks unless you know what you are doing etc.

But FBTgirl, i am curious now as to what tanks you have currently running exactly at the moment and how many gallons they are and what fish you have exactly in them and how many? We can help you make sure you do not have any potential time bomb problems in other tanks you have, so you can help avoid repeating the same mistakes. Also giving info on other stuff like how long you've had the fish plus how long the tanks have been set up etc too would be useful too.
