Water stats are fine and I have the opportunity to go to my lfs tommorrow, i can pick up any needed treatments there.

Please Help :sad:

Thanks Guys.

What are your water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Is the lump hard, or soft looking filled with fluid.
Any redness to the lump.
Does the lump resemble a cauliflower.
Is the lump beneath the skin, or on top of the skin.

Tests Done With A Nutrafin Liquid Test Kit:
Nitrate = 5ppm
Nitrite = 0
Ammonia = 0
Ph = 7.5

The lump is beneath the skin.

This morning it seems to have burst and smallened leaving some of what looks to be loose skin, cannot see any infection and it doesnt look painful, showed my lfs guy the images and he said just keep an eye on it for a couple of days, and if anything changes come and see him again.

Any ideas of what it could be though? It was protruding out, i can't say it was waxy, but it diddnt really look soft.

This Lump has now gone,

Still some slight swelling but it looks like it will be perfectly fine, any ideas what it could have been??

I can't enlarge your photos, but does it look like the photos I've got in this thread...
