Goldfish pic - poop or wound?

Hi guys,
Noticed a crazy amount of white coming out of one of the goldfish in the garden. Fish seems to be swimming around okay, if a little slow and near the surface. I know not much can be done, but do you think it’s poop or hot guts hanging out maybe after cat swipe or similar trauma?
Appreciate not much could be done if the latter...

kill it . the fish has a major injury and its guts are hanging out its side.

I agree. That’s not poop. That’s intestines. Euthanize the poor fish.
