Golden Dojo Loach

My poor dojo loach has these large sore like areas in the middle. Anyone else see this before or know what it is and how treat it? Please respond...don't know what to do!!!

I am not sure but it looks like a burn or abrasion to me Ynvne1. I have moved your post to the emergencies section where people more familiar with things like this can help you out.

Melafix is good for open wounds. It looks like a burn or something. Did you check to make sure your heater is working correctly?

that's quite an injury. i would def. go for some melafix on it though

That's bad. Poor thing.
Can you isolate the fish.
Half dose some melafix. Not all fish tolerate the fish dose.
