just wonderin . anyone who owns one, when u bought them how much did u pay (in english pounds) and how big were they when you got them

I can't help you in the english pounds department...But gold sevs shouldn;t be priced any higher than regular green ones...Atleast they aren't around here. I believe there are color morphs such as blue, red-gold or super-red(don't quote me on the name) which are more expensive and harder to find.

Now i'm pretty sure these are super reds...They might be golds but mine NEVER showed color like this.

Well around here the golds are more expensive by about $3(sorry im bad at coverting) so greens usually go for 7.99 and golds i paid about $12 for.
Really...I got my two from the same tank (1green 1gold) and they were both the same price...I guess it can depend on the individual store..or if they are harder to get in a certain area :S Idunno

My red-gold was 1.5 times as expensive as the green and regular gold. He's about 3" right now. He's really pretty now, I can't wait for his color to come in more!

I got this super red cheeked sev for around $25, don't know what that is in english pounds, but it was a pretty good price for such a good quality fish

yep yours is a young gold sev, once they reach about 5-6" there colour really comes out.

at work we sell ones at 1.5-2" for £3.95, any big ones that come in would be up for aorund £20.
