HI

I purchased two Gold Severums from the same tank at my LFS on Saturday.  They are quite small, slightly larger than a ping pong ball.   On Monday morning - they both thought it would be fun chasing and gobling up my neons (also purchased at the same time) but since yesterday the largest of them (he is only marginally bigger) has started to chase and have a go at the smaller one.  They both looked fine in the LFS and everything was ok up until yesterday.

Can it be a dominating thing? the larger trying to same he is the daddy?  Smaller one poorly?

Any advice would be good

Thank you

What size tank is this? Neons and Severums are a pretty bad idea tbh of course the Neons were going to get eaten.

Severums are quite sensitive fish - not in the sense they are hard to keep but in the sense that they are quite "emotional" fish they sulk, they throw tantrums and they can sometimes be down right spiteful.... They are also territorial and in a new tank if you have two and they are not a pair they will probably clash at some point.

Main question is tank size before I suggest any further action
